Maria Henheffer practises in the areas of litigation, insurance, personal injury, torts, administrative, and labour and employment. She has extensive trial experience in personal injury and motor vehicle related claims, as well as in employment and labour law.

Professional Experience

Born in Saint John, Maria received her B.A. from St. Thomas University in 1977 and her LL.B. in 1980 from the University of New Brunswick. Admitted to the Newfoundland Bar in 1981, she practised insurance law there for nine years. After being admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1989, she joined the Barry Spalding team. Her affiliations include membership in the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Saint John Law Society, and the Law Society of Newfoundland.
