Jean-Yves practices in the areas of litigation, insurance, personal injury, torts and municipal law. Fluent in both English and French, he conducts his practice in both official languages.
Professional Experience
Jean-Yves completed his undergraduate degree in sociology at the Université de Moncton in 2001. He then went on to earn his L.L.B. from the Université de Moncton in 2004. During his law studies, Jean-Yves was a two time recipient of the New Brunswick Law Society bursary.
Admitted to the bar in 2005, he immediately joined Barry Spalding. His current affiliations include the Canadian Bar Association, New Brunswick Law Society, the Saint John Law Society, and L'Association des Juristes d'Expresion Française du Nouveau-Brunswick.
Outside the Office
Hailing from Petit-Rocher, Jean-Yves involves himself in his surrounding community. During his law studies he was the director of the Student Pro Bono Law Program and currently remains active in the Saint John francophone community.
In his spare time Jean-Yves enjoys golfing and running.
