Hélène
Beaulieu was called to the New Brunswick Bar in 1988 and then
furthered her education with a masters in Insurance Law and
Civil Procedure from the London School of Economics. Hélène is
also a Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional. In 2007, she
was appointed Queen’s Counsel.
Professional Experience
In 1991, Hélène left private
practice to spend 10 years as a Crown Prosecutor. As a result,
she is very knowledgeable on evidentiary issues. She has since
resumed her civil and insurance litigation practice in the
Moncton office of Barry Spalding. Hélène practices in both
French and English.
Outside the Office
Hélène is a
past president of the Canadian Bar Association, NB Branch, and a
past president of the Moncton Area Lawyers’ Association. Hélène
is a member of local and provincial organizations. She is
president of The Southeast Ringette Association and is very
involved in her community. She has been teaching business law
at the Université de Moncton for 18 years. She is married to
Gene Murphy and they have three beautiful daughters. |
