Donald practises in the areas of labor and employment, litigation, and insurance law.

Professional Experience

Born in Bath, Donald received his B.B.A. in 1988 and his LL.B. in 1995 from the University of New Brunswick. He has worked with Barry Spalding since being admitted to the bar in 1996. Prior to law school, Donald had extensive labor experience including affiliations with the Bakery, Confectionary and Tobacco Workers International Union. As a union representative at Lantic Sugar Ltd. Donald was involved with collective bargaining, grievance/arbitration, pension committees, occupational health and safety, and workers compensation issues. Current legal affiliations include membership in the Canadian Bar Association, the New Brunswick Bar Society, and the Saint John Law Society.

Donald is married and he and his wife Heather have three children, Jonathan, Michael, and Haley.
