Professional Experience
Crystal completed her undergraduate degree in French at Memorial University of Newfoundland in 1999. She continued her education at the University of New Brunswick where in 2002 she received her LL.B. While attending Law School, Crystal received various academic awards including the Law Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador Law School Entrance Scholarship, New Brunswick Law Foundation Scholarship, the Lyman Purnell Prize in Wills and Estates and the award for highest standing in Conflict of Laws.
Crystal was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2003 and practiced in St. John's until April, 2006. Upon relocating to Saint John, she was called to the New Brunswick Bar in June, 2006 and joined Barry Spalding as an Associate. Crystal is a member of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Saint John Law Society and the Canadian Bar Association.
Outside the Office
Crystal is involved in the Canadian Bar Association and was Co-Chair of the 2006 Law Day Committee of the Newfoundland and Labrador Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
