Labour & Employment Law

Labour law involves acting for and advising the employers of organized labour and individual employees in grievance and arbitration proceedings under both Federal and Provincial legislation, usually involving Collective Agreements.

Employment Law governs the rights and obligations between employees and their employers. Foundations of Employment Law arise from the common law as compared to labour law. Employment Law issues are diverse. They range from the drafting of employment contracts to litigating wrongful dismissal actions, and to interpreting Provincial and Federal labour legislation.

We handle all aspects of management and labour relations and collective bargaining matters, as well as all employment related matters with respect to non-unionized employees.
